The Black Skull Comic book project is the brainchild of Jeff Kilian and Dave Lofton. A true believer’s period tribute to the horror comics of old.

Do you remember reading horror comics as a child? Maybe, by flashlight, under the covers or in the back yard in a pup tent? Want that tingle of fear and suspense back again? Well, look no further than “The Black Skull”.

Termed a “vanity project” by its foremost creator Jeff, Black Skull is to be an homage to the pre-code comics of 1950’s. Featuring the kind of frightening stories found in the original horror comics such as “Weird”, “Ghosts”, “Black Cat” and many other nightmarish publications that still haunt the back rows and dusty shelves of your local comic book shop.

Currently scheduled to publish in 2025, Black Skull Comics #13 will be a midnight carriage ride through the minds of some of today’s most renown comic artist.
